Saturday 25 February 2012 looks set to be an interesting day in the ongoing Kenya Cup as the sides occupying the top four slots meet each other, definitely setting the stage for reorganization of the league standings at the close of business on Saturday night. The Lions will be out to consolidate their lead as they play away to Strathmore

Strathmore Leos (3) v KCB (1)

Third placed Strathmore Leos (33 points)  host current leaders KCB (34 points). Besides the fact that these two sides are only separated by a solitary point, there is little else to differentiate the two sides. The Leos had their five match winning streak snapped last weekend when they succumbed to a 13-8 away defeat at the hands of Impala RFC. Paul Odera’s charges will be out to avenge the 14-10 defeat they suffered to KCB in the first leg.

KCB returned to the top of the table after grinding out a 6-3 win over Homeboyz RFC on match day eleven. Aware of the fact that only a point separates them from two other sides placed second and third, the bankers will go into this tie  looking to complete the double over their hosts by registering a win that will probably see them stay top, depending on the outcomes of other league fixtures on the day.
