Still smarting from the 6-7 loss away to Nakuru RFC,KCB have stepped up their preparations ahead of their weekend clash against Mwamba RFC at the Lions’ Den as the Kenya Cup League enters its third round.

This fixture is rapidly turning into a crowd puller as recent clashes between the two sides have registered stunning results.These two sides met in the final of the 2007 Impala Floodlit Championship with KCB emerging 14-13 winners.

In the Eric Shirley Shield,KCB II will be seeking to register their first win of the season when they play Mwamba II at the Lions den in Ruaraka.

KCB II had a frustrating opening fixture against stubborn Nakuru II who held them to a frustrating 0-0 draw in Nakuru.

The KCB squads will be named on Thursday night after a training session at the Lions’ Den.
